    太原东山-寿阳勘探区晚古生代含煤岩系聚煤模式及其预测意义

    COAL-FORMING MODELS AND THE EVALUATION OF THE LATE PALAEOZOIC COAL-BEARING STRATA IN THE EAST HILL-SHOUYANG AREA,TALYUAN,SHANXI

    • 摘要: 太原东山-寿阳勘探区位于沁水煤田西北部,隔太原市与西山煤田遥遥相对。在200多米厚的煤系地层中,记录了一套海退型沉积环境演化规律:本溪组是以受潮汐作用影响的泻湖和海湾沉积环境,自晋祠砂岩向上直至山西组下部北岔沟砂岩是三角洲沉积环境,山西组中上部是上三角洲平原一冲积平原沉积环境。不同的沉积环境具有不同的聚煤作用特点,因此,以沉积环境为线索,探讨成煤的地质条件,进而总结出聚煤模式,对预测新的勘探区以及指导煤田勘探具有一定的意义。

       

      Abstract: Three coal-forming models have been proposed in this paper in terms of the environmental analysis. (1)The tidal fiat coal-forming model for the Benxi Formation is characterized by thin coalbeds and high sulfur contents. The sedimentary environments include lagoons and bays. (2) The shallow-water deltaic plain coal-forming model for the Taiyuan Formation and the lower part of the Shanxi Formation is characterized by the commercial coalbeds such as Coalbeds 8, 9 and 15. The sedimentary environments consist of five shallow-water deltas. (3)The littoral alluvial plain coalforming model for the upper part of the Shanxi Formation is characterized by no commercial coalbeds because of frequent overflowing, scouring and lateral migration of the channels.
      More and more commercial coalbeds besides Coalbeds 8, 9 and 15 might be discovered in the vicinity of the East Hill-Shouyang area, Taiyuan. In every stage of exploration, the large-scale distributary channel sandstone bodies should be traced in order to locate the rich and thick coal zones because the commercial coalbeds tend to be inversely proportional to the thick sandstone bodies. Furthermore, in the light of coal types, textures and structures, and mineral impurity etc., three coal facies have been distinguished in this paper for Coalbeds 8, 9 and 15. the oxidized peat swamp facies. the standing water peat swamp facies and the open water peat swamp facies.
