对硼作为相标志的异议
OBJECTIONS TO BORON AS A FACIES INDICATOR

摘要: 近几年来,人们对沉积环境的研究正趋深入。确定沉积相的方法越来越多,尤以地球化学参数颇受注目。为了能用定量的方法确定海相及陆相,地质工作者多视微量元素硼(B)为珍宝,即沉积岩中硼含量>100ppm为海相,<100ppm为陆相,这样似乎顺理成章。然而、硼作为相分析标志真的那么灵验吗?笔者经过参阅国内外的有关文献,通过野外实际工作及室内大量资料的研究,认为硼可以作为分析古盐度的一种方法,但若作为确定沉积环境的主要标志,不一定具有普遍意义。本文试图就这个问题提出一些异议,以引起广大地质工作者的注意。Abstract: According to the research of the trace element boron conducted by the scholars at home and abroad, in combination with abundant data now available, the authors contend that boron may be used as a reliable criterion for identification of water body salinity, but not as a facies indicator. In this case, palaeontological and other sedimentary characteristics should be taken into account when boron is used as a criterion for recognition of ancient sedimentary environments.
