Abstract: The Ban Tha Si area(370km²),Mac Moh,Lampang,was selected for the first geological studies using various computer programmes provided by the Mineral Resources Development Project. More than 150 data entries have been stored in the data bank using,the SEDBA pro-gramme. Geological maps presented were produced mainly using the AUTOCAD programme. The magnetic and radiometric maps were processed and enhanced principally using GEOSOFT Mapping System software package. The Landsat and SPOTS images were prepared and en-hanced using Meridian programme.
