SEDIMENTARY CHARACTERISTICS OF BIOGENIC LIMESTONES IN THE UPPER DEVONIAN WANGGUANGOU FORMATION IN THE WANGJIADIAN REGION,SHANGNAN,SHAANXI

摘要: 汪家店地区上泥盆统王冠沟组(D_sw)发育了两种生物灰岩类型;生物障积灰岩和生物粘结灰岩。根据生物生态特征、造礁方式和岩石产出形态,可以划分为层状礁和生物丘,它们形成在不同的水动力条件下,具有不同的沉积环境。总体上都形成于水体较浑浊、较深的潮下低能环境中。

Abstract: Two types of biogenetic limestones are well developed in the Upper Devonian Wang-guangou Formation in the Wangjiandian region,Shangnan,Shaanxi.They are bafflestone and bindstone,which may be subdivided,according to ecological characteristics,reef-build-ing modes and occurrences,in to bedded reefs and bioherms produced in distinctive environ-ments under different hydrodynamic conditions.Commonly,they were all formed in more turbid-and deeper-water subtidal low-energy environments.
