Abstract: The stratigraphic sections of the Nanhuan-Silurian stratigraphic outcrops and their sedimentary environments and facies in the Susong-Dongzhizone, Anhui are discussed on the basis of the 1:250000 regional geological survey. The Nanhuan-Silurian strata may be divided into one first-order sequence, five second-order sequences and fifteen third-order sequence sets. The former two of sequence orders exhibit an overall shallowing-deepening-shallowing trend up-section, which is in accordance with sea-level curves. The sea-level fluctuations within the last ones are commonly constrained by tectonism, sea-level changes and glaciation.
