Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology is an academic journal of earth science under the supervision of China Geological Survey and sponsored by Chengdu Center, China Geological Survey (Geosciences Innovation Center of Southwest China). It was founded in 1981 under the name Lithofacies Paleogeography Research and Mapping Newsletter, and was later renamed Lithofacies Paleogeography. In 2000, it was merged with Tethyan Geology, which was founded in 1994, and was renamed Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology (Quarterly).
Submission Scope
Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology mainly publishes the most recent research findings and progresses in Sedimentology and the evolution of the Tethyan tectonic domain.The journal covers basic geology, sedimentary geology, mineral geology, energy geology, hydrology geology, engineering geology, environmental geology, stratigraphy and paleontology, ecological geology, geoinformation and related exploration technology
Submission Instructions
• Articles must be submitted via our online submission system, please log on https://www.cjyttsdz.com.cn/ and follow the submission steps after registering as Author.
• Author are requested to modify the format according to Requirements for Manuscripts and Paper Template of Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology (no column required). Manuscripts that do not meet the format requirements will be rejected.
• Submission of a manuscript implies that the research described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else.
• The editorial office will process the manuscript within 1 month after receiving the manuscript. If you still haven't received our receiving notice after 3 months of submission, the author can change to other journal by himself;
• After acceptance, editor may make minor changes to the manuscript so that the text and figures are readable and clear to readers.
• After acceptance, authors must agree to sign Copyright Transfer Agreement and Confidentiality Statement.
• Articles will generally be published in the order of accepted date. Priority will be given to the articles of innovative and cutting-edge research results and invited submissions;
• After the manuscript formally enters the typesetting process, authors would be charged publication fee with a set price per published page, and information related to invoice and remuneration need to be provided through our website.
• After the manuscript is published, the remuneration will be paid and one publication will be given for free.
