Abstract

Foraminiferal algal oncolites are commonly known as Osagia. The foraminiferal algal oncolites reported here were discovered by the author in 1985 in the Middle Devonian micritic limestones in Liuzhai. Guangxi. This paper deals with the common characteristics and environments for the formation of the oncolites from the study area.
