  • Sequence stratigraphy of continenta[strata which are greatly different from those of marine strata is an important branch in the field of sequence stratigraphy. The developments are reviewed on the basis of controlling factors of sedimentary systems, sequence stratigraphy and simulation,and global correlation,and characteristics of seuqence stratigraphy of continental strata are also illustrated in this paper.
