    • The Cambrian strata referred to as a succession of dark marine carbonate sediments in Jiangshan,Zhejiang,consist of a transgressive facies sequence including the lagoon facies and shallow-marine platform facies.The present paper discusses the evolution and tectonic implications for regional palaeogeographic framework of the southeastern margin of the Zhejiang-Anhui Sea Basin on the basis of sedimentary facies in combination with regional geological data in the working area.
