An approach to the enrichment of the interwell residual oil

The research on the enrichment of the interwell residual oil is believed to be an important aspect of the later-stage exploration and development of oil fields. Many methods and techniques have been successively (applied). The present paper will introduce a new technique to rapidly and accurately monitor the distribution of the residual oil, and constantly have a grip on the processes of the work for the producing wells by using (conventional) analysis of dynamic and static data without large-scale numerical simulation. This technique may facilitate the full use of geologic reserves and the improvement of oil recovery.
