  • The Devonian strata in the Lazhuglung region, northern Xizang have been redivided, on the basis of abundant Devonian brachiopods fossils from the previously established Ordovician Shouxinghu Formation, into the two formations:Shouxinghu Formation and the first member (Dolostone Member) and second member (Limestone Member) of the Lazhuglung Formation. The ages of these Formations are assigned mostly to the Early-Late Devonian.
