  • Sedimentary facies developed in the middle submember of the third member of the Shahejie Formation in the Huanghekou depression consist of the braided delta, fan delta, sublacustrine fan and lacustrine facies. The controls of the syndepositional faults are manifested in:(1) the controls of the active basin-margin faults in the steep slope zone on the distribution of the fan delta facies;(2) the controls of the active basin-margin faults in the ramp zone on the distribution of the braided delta facies;(3) the controls of the second-order faults on the sublacustrine fan facies and deep-water depositional areas,and(4) the controls of the F20 E-W trending syndepositional faults in the middle part of the eastern fault terraces on gullies and valleys as the main channels for sediment supply.
