  • Published Date: September 29, 2008
  • The examination of ore potential, palaeogeographic evolution and palaeoclimates indicates the controls of palaeogeographic environments on the mineralization of the bauxite deposit in southwestern Tianshan Mountains,Xinjiang. The bauxite deposit in the study area occurs along the erosion surface of a palaeo-weathering crust of the Carboniferous limestones as a sedimentary bauxite deposit on the passive continental margin.
