  • The Unegt depression is a larger depression in the Dornogobi Basin,Mongolia.The depression has long been less prospective for the oil deposits because the stratigraphic and structural sequences are less studied in this region.New results of research in this study show that like the adjacent Zuunbayan depression and Eren Basin,the main part of the Unegt depression consist of the Lower Cretaceous continental deposits,and thus may be of good oil potential.
