Wall-rock alteration and mineralization mechanism of the Nongruri gold deposit in Xizang

More Information
  • Published Date: September 29, 2009
  • The wall-rock alteration types in the Nongruri gold deposit,Xizang consist dominantly of pyritization, sericifization, realgarization, albitization, silicification and carbonatization,of which intense silicification, pyritization and realgarization(orpimentization) are closely related to gold mineralization.Furthermore,a direct genetic link for the gold deposit is postulated to be associated with the intrusion of the Himalayan granite-porphyry.
