REE analysis for the soil samples using HR-ICPMS and the evaluation of uncertainty

More Information
  • Published Date: December 29, 2009
  • A new method is developed for the determination of 15 REEs in the soil samples by using HR-ICPMS in the open systems. After crushed, the soil samples were digested by HF,HNO3 and HClO4.The experimental results show that the relative standard deviation values of these elements are less than 10%(n=6) and the recoveries vary between 96.5 and 114.7%.This method is simple and rapid, and has high sensitivity, low detection limit and good reproducibility. The procedure for the evaluation of uncertainty is also discussed in details exemplified by the determination of La in the soil samples.
