    • The present paper deals,on the basis of core examination,well logs,seismic data and laboratory analysis,with the types,distribution and filling models for the sedimentary systems in the middle part of the third member of the Shahejie Formation in northern Dongpu depression,where the lacustrine delta front deposits predominate,including the fan delta front,braided delta front and normal delta front deposits.The plain deposits are less developed.In addition,the gravity flow,storm and beach-bar deposits occur as well in the study area.Finally the sedimentary facies model is constructed based on the deposition and filling patterns for the northern,central and southern parts of the Dongpu depression.
