  • On the basis of the databases of geology and copper ore deposits, 6418 statistical units are divided for the Jinshajiang-Lancangjiang-Nujiang area in southwestern China. The authors have extracted 12 evidence factors including strata, rock masses, faults and so on with the aid of GIS spatial analysis, and constructed the evidence weight prospecting model. 44 forecast prospects are delineated, of which 9 are grouped into A type, 15 into B type and 20 into C type.
