  • The Chengbei fault terraces are host to many target strata,where the oil and gas pools tend to be vertically stacked and laterally connected, and thus have great potential for oil and gas exploration.The main controlling factors for oil and gas accumulation in the study area include sufficient hydrocarbon sources,good reservoir-seal associations,fault terrace development,inherited fault development,later oil accumulation and diverse migration patterns for oil and gas.
