    • In the light of the modern concept of metallogenic series, the present paper presents a preliminary division of the metallogenic series and associations of different origins from magmatic intrusion, volcanism and sedimentation,respectively.Thirty-one lead-zinc deposits in the central and southern parts of the Nujiang-Lancangjiang-Jinshajiang metallogenic belt in southwestern China fall into three metallogenic series associations, nine metallogenic series and seven metallogenic subseries. The results of research are of importance to future exploration of the lead-zinc deposits in the study area.
