  • The high-resolution Quickbird satellite images as one of remote sensing techniques have been widely applied to the investigation of geologic hazards.The high-resolution remote sensing images are carried out by means of orthophotoscopic processes of the Quickbird satellite images.These images as the data sources for the remote sensing interpretation of geologic hazards have assisted in the rapid recognition of sizes,stability and risks of the rock avalanches in Xiaobao,Hanyuan,Sichuan.
